Jackdaw

Price range: 68.0 $ through 98.0 $

The Jackdaw is a small and adaptive crow that can be seen in urban areas. It’s a bird that mates for life, yet they also live in very large flocks. They are the kind of bird whose distinctive calls can be heard from quite a distance before you actually see them. For me, their highly recognizable call brings to mind the crows and ravens of Hitchcock’s classic horror film “The Birds”. Whenever I hear it, I can’t help but wonder if somewhere nearby a menacing scheme to wreak havoc is being devised behind beautiful blue eyes.
