The forest dormouse is a charming little creature that spends a significant amount of time in trees. They are highly agile climbers and can leap between branches up to 2 meters apart. These nocturnal animals are also very territorial. Adults live in low densities, usually only two to three per acre, with a territory range of 65 to 100 meters.
